Haplo finds a world already plunged in chaos, being plagued by an unknown enemy, eventually termed the tytans.
He arrives to discover that his coming has been foretold, by Zifnab, an eccentric wizard, who tells of the coming of the "savior" with bandaged hands.
Once again, characters are richly drawn, charismatic and attractive. The story is engaging and emotional, revealing some answers, but asking more questions.
Even though I have read this story before, it has been many years, and I found myself caught up in the characters' adventures.
